Measurement Software For Large Files

Designed to load and manage extremely large CAD files quickly and easily, CAM2 Measure X1 CAD-based measurement software features a graphics/CAD engine. This engine allows multiple measurement files to refer to a single CAD file, rather than each file containing all of the CAD part data. Engineers can work with one CAD file, avoiding the need to divide one large file into separate, smaller files. Thanks to its CAD translator function, the software supports IGES, VDA, CATIA v4 and v5, Unigraphics, Parasolid, SolidWorks, Solid Edge, ProE, Inventor, and OpenNURBS. On-screen labels allow users to review results on-screen without having to pick a specific feature. Feature constraints can be used to set parameters for feature calculation, which creates more precise arc measurements in large-volume applications. Additional features include 3-2-1 coordinate system options, which enable users to set the primary axis on a cylinder or bore as well as a plane, and a layer management function designed to simplify organizing measured and nominal data. Furthermore, the software includes custom tool macros, which allow users to program specified commands for repeat measurements. /
