Pericom Semiconductor Corporation (San Jose, CA)  (NASDAQ: PSEM) announces in conjunction with Designcon, production availability of an industry first family of low jitter, low power high frequency crystal oscillators developed using Pericom’s patented XP technology. Key features and benefits include:

  • Lower phase jitter (0.25ps rms typical) for high-frequency 2.5V & 3.3V CMOS/PECL clock applications.
  • Drop-in compatible with existing Overtone, SAW, and PLL-based oscillator solutions in 4-pin 5x7mm (2.5V/3.3V SX CMOS Series), 6-pin 5x7mm (2.5V/3.3V SN PECL) and 6-pin 3.2x5mm (3.3V SD PECL Series) packages.
  • Low Power Consumption: 25mA max (2.5V) and 30mA max (3.3V).
