Linear Steppers For Robotics

New high-performance linear stepper motors travel at speeds up to 80 in./sec with strokes to 144 in. and acceleration to 1 G. The two- and four-phase devices are suitable for pick-and-place, wire bonder, parts transfer, semiconductor, and other robotic applications. Capable of up to 50 lbs of continuous force and 65 lbs of peak force, these single-axis designs integrate the motor, bearings, and positioning system into a compact package.
