Lighting Kits For Intelligent Color & White Led Lighting Systems

The CY3269N Lighting Starter Demonstration Kit leverages EZ-Color and CapSense technologies, which enable tunable white light control, color mixing, and capacitive touch sensing, for the development of intelligent LED lighting fixtures.

The CY3263-ColorLock Evaluation Kit and CY3269N Lighting Starter Demonstration Kit utilize Cypress’ award-winning EZ-Color™ design solution for intelligent color and white LED lighting systems.

Mouser Electronics, Inc. is stocking two new lighting kits from Cypress Semiconductor Corp., a supplier of high-performance, mixed-signal, programmable solutions.

“Mouser strives to have the newest technologies in stock to allow our design engineering customers the opportunity to evaluate the latest technological advances for their new designs,” says Mike Scott, Mouser’s Vice President of Active Products. “Continuing to expand our in-stock offering of Cypress’ new products and tools, like these new lighting kits, offers our engineering customers more opportunities to create innovative designs and get them to market quickly.”

The CY3263-ColorLock Evaluation Kit and CY3269N Lighting Starter Demonstration Kit utilize Cypress’ award-winning EZ-Color™ design solution for intelligent color and white LED lighting systems.

The CY3263-ColorLock evaluation board demonstrates the ability of the EZ-Color device to use real-time optical feedback to control three primary, high-brightness LEDs and create accurate, mixed-color output.

The three LEDs on the evaluation board use the primary colors red, green, and blue, although any color LEDs can be used in a design, depending on the application and desired color gamut.

The kit features a color sensor and control loop for the LCD backlight, architectural lighting, and general signage markets. In addition to the demonstration board, the kit includes a dedicated test pin for the DMX512 protocol, MiniProg, 5V LCD display, USB cable, and a CD with PSoC Express, as well as Gerber files and schematics.

The CY3269N Lighting Starter Demonstration Kit leverages EZ-Color and CapSense technologies, which enable tunable white light control, color mixing, and capacitive touch sensing, for the development of intelligent LED lighting fixtures.

At the simple touch of a finger, users can illuminate a large area with warm, neutral or cool white light of variable color temperature. Rich, vibrant colored light can be created to set moods, accents, and customize the overall feel of any venue with little effort.
