8.4-inch 'SVGA' TFT Liquid Crystal Display

Kyocera (Vancouver, WA) has announced the introduction of its 8.4” super-wide-viewing-angle LCD display, the latest in its line of high-reliability, long-life LCDs. This display is expected to be ideal for applications in the transportation and medical device industries, among others. Features include:

  • A 170-degree viewing angle cone.
  • An onboard LED driver circuit.
  • A LVDS interface.
    SVGA (800 x 600 dot) format.
  • A typical operating life of 70,000 hours.
