The new sensorless drives feature a PWM frequency of 56 k for cool motor operation.
Koford Engineering LLC (Winchester, OH) has introduced a new line of compact high efficiency sensorless drives for operation for 12 to 60 volt applications, with current up to 5 amps. Features include:
An efficiency up to 99 percent.
A PWM frequency of 56 k for cool motor operation.
Can operate low inductance slotless motors without requiring any external inductance. Open loop, and digital closed loop versions are available.
Tach and phase current output signals are also available.
Can be operated in stand alone mode, or controlled by a 0-5 V voltage or 5 V pwm input.
