Koford Engineering LLC (Winchester, OH) has introduced a new line of 36 mm brushless planetary gearmotors that offer high output torque and power. The gearboxes feature:

  • Durable hardened steel precision gears with needle bearing planetaries.
  • Input speeds up to 30,000 rpm.  
  • Reductions from 6.75:1 to 307.54:1 are available. 
  • Gearbox  efficiencies are up to 94 percent.  
  • The motors are available in 2 and 4  pole designs and with hall sensors or sensorless with power outputs 10 to 620 watts.
  • Motor speeds from 3,600 up to 30,000 rpm.
  • Motor efficiencies up to 89 percent. 
  • Mechanical time constants are as low as 4 ms. 
  • A slotless design which eliminates cog.
