Keyless Locking Assemblies

The PSV 2001 keyless locking mechanisms in industrial sizes from 20 to 200 mm and 3/4 to 7-7/8 in. can handle torque loads up to 50,000 ft/lbs. They provide a backlash-free, 360-degree grip without the use of keyways, which can cause frequent failures, repairs, and downtime due to wear or pounding out.

PSV 2001 assemblies are available in stainless steel and in an electroless nickel-plated finish that provides corrosion resistance by preserving the full torque transmission capability. The mechanisms are self-releasing and non-self-centering.

They are suitable for reversing applications where keyways develop stress fractures and untimely failures. Typical applications include fastening levers, pulleys, bevel gears, sprockets, and sheaves.
