Kaman offers the KD-5100 system with a low power consumption of less than 2W at ±15 VDC.

Kaman’s (Colorado Springs, CO) KD-5100 differential impedance position/displacement measuring systems offer significant advancements in precision measurement technology, providing exceptional resolution, repeatability, and reliability for detecting the position of a conductive target relative to a pair of non-contacting sensors. Kaman offers the KD-5100 system with:

  • A choice of 2 sensors: the 15 and 20N.
  • An output that is differential and bipolar.
  • Thermal and long-term stability of 5 x 10-6 inches/month.
  • High sensitivity up to 10 V/mil.
  • A small package size (2 x 2.12 x 0.75 inches).
  • A low power consumption of less than 2W at ±15 Vdc.
