In many test applications, it can take more time to collect, connect, and set up the sensors and DAQ system than it does to actually run the test.
Kaman's design objective was to create a simple easy-to-use DAQ that would reduce set-up time.

Colorado Springs, Colorado — Kaman Precision Products|Measuring announces the development and release of the DAQ-JACK KDAQ200+ data acquisition device that can power analog instrumentation through its USB-powered programmable bipolar DC output. DAQ-JACK KDAQ200+ offers:

  • A built-in programmable power supply that takes power from the USB port on a PC or laptop and supplies the sensor or instrument with regulated DC power, eliminating the need for a separate DC power source.
  • A built-in a type-K thermocouple jack — since virtually every sensor is influenced by temperature fluctuations.
  • A thermocouple output displayed on the strip chart, the data is logged with the analog inputs.
  • Software that loads onto any PC, laptop or notebook computer, making setup simple.
