Independent Intelligent Control System

The GENN2 System features independent intelligent control of multiple sequential control operations. Instead of a central computer, each GEN2 valve module contains its own on-board programmed logic. This feature allows each module to communicate directly with other modules, both upstream and downstream, and make independent decisions based on its own individual program instructions. Although it is designed for pneumatically powered accumulation conveyors, the technology can be applied to non-pneumatic conveyor systems as well as sequential and proportional control applications in other industries. Features include quick-connect plug-and-run technology, which is said to simplify installation and reduce assembly time. Menu-driven programming allows engineers to select a range of options and, if desired, to reconfigure the entire system without reprogramming. While the system can function without a central computer, it can be connected to the LAN to provide operators with status and diagnostic information.
