High-temperature Ball Bearings

New deep groove ball bearings for high temperatures operate reliably at shaft speeds to 100 rpm in extreme conditions and may eliminate the need for special bearings or lubricants. Typical applications include kiln truck wheels, support rollers, general wheel arrangements, and other equipment where bearings will be subject to temperature demands. Depending on type, the bearings feature graphite cage technology for extended service life and minimized maintenance, special lubricants for operation in temperatures from -238 ° F ( -150° C) to 662 °F (350 °C), double-shielded designs to protect against solid contaminants and help retain lubricant, and materials that emit no dangerous gases or vapors. Bearing sizes range from 0.3937 in. to 3.937 in. (10 mm to 100 mm) bore diameter and all types are available with cylindrical bores. Five designs are available, and custom bearing designs can be developed.
