Helical/bevel Speed Reducers

K Series helical/bevel right-angle speed reducers for the food and beverage industry are totally enclosed to prevent leaking.

Maintenance free in wet or dry environments, the units feature NEMA C-face input flanges with an O-ring between the reducer and motor. All MGS quills and bushing parts are high-tensile, corrosion-resistant stainless steel. Completely sealed, the units are lubricated for life and shipped filled with oil to mount in any horizontal output position. There is no breather to allow moisture into the unit during high-pressure washing. Output covers protect the seals and meet safety standards for rotating parts. Output is double-sealed on both sides with an outer dual lip seal and inner single lip seal. Units are coated in three steps with USDA-approved finish for use in food processing and handling. The patented double-sided, wobble-free bushing system allows the unit to be mounted on the shaft from either side.
