Heaters With Ptfe Insulated Leadwires

Thermofoil heaters with PTFE insulation are suitable for applications where caustic or corrosive chemicals are present. At 0.025-in. thin, these heaters are resistant to most acids and bases. Sealed PTFE insulated leadwires allow immersion of the units in chemicals such as acid baths, etching systems, and chemical processing tanks.

The heaters are also suitable for medical and pharmaceutical applications where the clean, inert properties of the insulation material prevent contamination. They are suitable for operation to 260°C and capable of power densities up to 50 W/sq in. at 100°C.
