The first two sizes are available for a new series of high-performance globe valves featuring a balanced plug design. Engineered for large commercial HVAC applications, the VB-8000 Series of valves uses a patented design for the plug and seat that eliminates unbalanced pressure forces on the plug. The result is a globe valve with higher close-off and better flow capacity than more complex units. The new valves require less-powerful actuation and can save material costs for builders.
