FUTEK (Irvine, CA) has released their model LSB210, a Submersible Jr. S-Beam Load Cell used in applications where protection from liquids is required. Although the product was built for a diverse range of applications examples include fiber tension, medical bag weighing, and automated feedback control systems. The LSB210 S-Beam is a model from FUTEK’s miniature Sensors line that features:
- A thickness of 0.25 inch and low profile height of 0.75 inch.
- A high accuracy with a deflection of 0.005” nominal.
- An operating temperature of -60° to 200° F.
- A USB output option is also available.
- Overload protection.
- Available in 100 g to 100 lbs (1 – 445 N).
- A nonlinearity starting at 0.1 percent, deflection of 0.005” nominal.
