Front-end Module

The M-FIAM (Military Filter and Input Attenuator Module) is a modular, DC input, front end providing transient protection, inrush current limiting, and EMI filtering in a single, mini-sized package. It also protects system hardware from potentially damaging effects of inrush current. The unit accepts an input voltage of 180-375 Vdc, and delivers output current up to 3 amps.

It is housed in an industry standard "half-brick" module measuring 2.28 x 2.2 x 0.54 in. and, depending on the model selected, may be mounted on-board or in-board for height-critical applications. Prices start at $105 in 100-piece quantities.
