Foil Strain Sensors

DTD 2684 Series strain sensors come in various models to match the materials commonly used in aircraft manufacturing.

These integral, full-bridge, fully encapsulated, temperature-compensated strain sensors can be bonded to critical airframe surfaces. In this way, critical areas such as under-carriage structures and control surfaces, can be monitored for potential fatigue damage caused by high-g maneuvers and high stress landings.
