Switching Tracer flowmeters show the same information as the Display units and include a user-programmable SPDT switch.

Burger & Brown Engineering (Grandview, MO) introduce tracer electronic flowmeters that display flow, temperature, BTU’s/min and FCI (Fluid Characteristic Indication) or Turbulent Flow. Switching Tracer flowmeters show the same information as the Display units and include a user-programmable SPDT switch (1A, 30VAC, 42VDC) that trips on flow or temperature set points. Additional features include:

  • Analog voltage outputs for flow and temperature information.
  • Available with 3/8, ¾, 1, 1-1/2 and 2-inch NPT and BSPP threads.
  • Operating temperature is 32 to 230°F (0 to 110°C).
  • Connection sizes are 3/8", 3/4", 1", 1-1/2" and 2"NPT(F).
  • Flow ranges 0 to 8gpm (0 to 30lpm) and up to 10 to 110gpm (38 to 418lpm).
  • Flow accuracy is +/-5 percent.
  • Repeatability is +/-3 percent.
  • Maximum pressure rating is 100psi.
