Flexible Control Cables

L-Flexx 290 control cables can snake through a maze of tight curves and turns during installation in confined areas. They promise long-term reliability for fixed installations in harsh industrial environments. Available in unshielded and shielded versions, they can be ordered in different AWG sizes and with a number of conductors.

Finely stranded bare copper conductors, combined with talc lubricant dispersed between the conductors, allow for a tight bend radius and the cable's curvy performance. The diameter-reduced cables can withstand a bend radius as small as four times the outside diameter.

Rated for 600 V/90°C, L-Flexx 290 cables are protected by specially formulated PVC jackets. Containing no silicone, mercury, chromium, lead, or cadmium, the cables resist mineral and synthetic oils, water-based coolants, and cleaning solvents.

Applications include industrial machinery, factory automation and drive systems, material handling, machine tool and injection molding equipment, semiconductor and pharmaceutical processing, data processing and control systems, aerial and scissor lifts, construction equipment, and bottling and packaging technology.
