Flex-mount Industrial Encoders

Dynapar Series F14 and F18 encoders provide high-performance feedback for stepper and servo motor controls.

Housed in compact 1.4 or 1.8 in. diameter packages with pluggable pin headers, the devices feature a compliant tether for easy mounting with high tolerance to motor shaft movement and 30 degrees of adjustment to align the signal outputs to the shaft position. The clamping system, available in top or bottom locations, provides strong clamping force and doesn't mar the shaft or loosen over time. No special tools are required for installation. The optical configuration provides generous internal component clearance, eliminating potential damage at high ambient operation temperatures up to 120°C. High-temperature-rated grease is standard for extended bearing life, and a phased array sensor and low current demand ensure stable output signals over a wide range of input voltage and output frequencies to 500 kHz.
