The DDM 08A-400 expansion chassis features 12 fans that keep the drives cool.



New CyberResearch’s (Branford, CT) DDM 08A-400 expansion chassis support any combination of 8 Serial Attached SCSI (SAS) or SATA hard drives under RAID 0, 1, 5, or JBOD configurations. Additional features include:

  • Hot-swap pullout drive frames at the front of the chassis.
  • 12 fans that keep the drives cool.
  • Up to 8 3 Gb/s drives.
  • A power supply of 400 W.
