Emi Shielding Gasket Material

The Cho-Form 5537 fast-curing, form-in-place EMI shielding gasket material provides high levels of shielding and galvanic corrosion resistance when dispensed on conductively painted plastic, plated plastic, or metal electronic enclosures. The new gasket material is a one-component, electrically conductive silicone elastomer containing nickel-plated graphite particles.

The material cures at room temperature in about four hours, allowing fast handling, QC inspection, and packaging of dispensed parts. The material demonstrates strong adhesion to zinc die-castings. Fully cured, it provides a shielding effectiveness above 70 dB from 200 MHz to 10 GHz.
