Embedded Telemetry System

A new embedded telemetry system is a hardware and software reference platform that streamlines the design, development, and deployment of customized telemetry systems. Its embedded software enables devices to deploy via multiple spectrums and carriers.

The system uses existing telecommunications networks, such as paging or cellular networks, to remotely transmit and monitor small amounts of data at infrequent intervals. It can wirelessly transmit low-volume data to and from devices such as temperature gauges, utility meters, and traffic lights, thereby cutting monitoring costs.
