A new embedded PC option for the Emerald EMC-2000 multi-axis motion controller is available. The embedded PC enables the application programmer to run third party or custom PC applications without risking the real-time performance of the Emerald motion controller. The application programmer can specify the exact nature of the controller resources available to the embedded PC, creating a safety wall against PC software timing delays or crashes.
