Digital-to-analog Convert Cards

The PCI-DA12 Series of digital-to-analog converter cards is designed for PCI bus computers and available with two, four, or six double-buffered analog outputs with 12-bit resolution.

Output voltages include standard 0-2.5, 0-5, and 0-10 V ranges as well as ۬.5, ۯ, and 䔮 V bipolar outputs. A 4-20 mA current loop output is also available. Output ranges are selected with a three-position DIP switch associated with each DAC channel. Voltage and current output are selectable for each channel and outputs can be updated either independently or simultaneously.

To prevent spurious outputs at power-up, DAC outputs are set to less than 15 percent of span by automatically restricting the reference voltage and setting the card to simultaneous update mode. A software command can switch the reference voltage to its normal value or lower it and reset all outputs to 15 percent of their programmed value.

Pricing starts at $359, $449, and $529 each for two, four, and six double-buffered analog outputs, respectively.
