Featuring built-in voltage detection, new 300 Series digital multimeters are built to provide simple operation in a convenient package. The 300 series combines two meters in one, making it well suited for electrical troubleshooting. With a non-contact voltage detector and the digital multimeter, engineers can check voltage before attaching the multimeter’s test leads to the device under test. Each of the three models the EX310, EX320, and EX330 feature built-in voltage detection. The auto-ranging EX330 offers a big digit 4,000-count display and measurements for temperature, capacitance, frequency, and duty cycle. All models measure DC/AC voltage with a 0.5 percent basic accuracy along with DC/AC current and resistance. They also perform diode tests; provide an audible beeper for continuity tests; and feature a low-battery indicator, auto power off function, and data hold to “freeze” a reading on the display. The EX320 is auto ranging, while the EX310 is manual ranging. Each has a 2,000-count display. The 300 Series meters come with stand, test leads, protective holster, and batteries. The EX330 also includes a bead wire temperature probe. The line supplements the manufacturer’s 400 series of digital multimeters, which offers built-in, non-contact, IR temperature-measurement capability.
