Digi International (Minnetonka, MN) has introduced the programmable XBee-PRO ZB, a foolproof programmable ZigBee module for easy and safe ZigBee application development. The XBee-PRO ZB offers:

  • Direct programming on the module, eliminating the need for a separate processor.
  • Isolated wireless software that easily develops applications with no risk to RF performance and security.
  • Easy integration of XBee-PRO ZB endpoints.
  • An 8-bit Freescale SO8 microprocessor and an outdoor RF line-of-sight range of up to one mile.
