Differential Pressure Switches

Available with our without enclosures, a line of differential pressure (DP) switches is designed for high line pressure applications. Engineers can choose piston models (up to 10,000 psig line pressure) and diaphragm models (up to 3,000 psig line pressure). Piston models cover DP ranges of 0-5 to 0-1,000 psid. Diaphragm models cover DP ranges of 0 to 5 in. water to 0 to 300 psid. Both models feature adjustable, hermetically sealed reed switches to control processes or initiate high/low alarms or indicators. Options include SPST, normally open or normally closed, and SPDT switches. Most reed switches are field adjustable within the upper 70 to 80 percent of the full-scale range of the DP model. All switches are preset to the full-scale range, unless a different value is requested. When two switches are used, they can be set independent of each other. Models with enclosures meet a variety of requirements, from NEMA-4X to Class 1, Div. 1 or Div. 2, as well as UL, CSA, CE or ATEX requirements. Optional dial cases, designed to provide easy-to-read dial-and-pointer indicators, are available. Dials can include features such as dual scales, follower pointers, and red or multicolor arcs.
