Differential Pressure Switch For Proximity Sensing

The EOS differential pressure switch provides consistent and repeatable proximity sensing in automated resistance welding operations. Since the EOS works in the pressure line between the actuator and the valve, it is not affected by changes in stroke length, differences in metal thickness, weld tip erosion, or drops in system pressure.

The switch does not use magnetism or inductive sensing and is unaffected by weld fields, eliminating the need for constant recalibration. The EOS can be mounted at or away from the cylinder and, unlike standard proximity sensors, will not trip in low pressure situations ensuring quality welds and faster cycle times.
