Differential Pressure Gauges

New high-pressure differential pressure gauges are built for use in applications with elevated line pressures. Featuring 10,000 psi line pressure ratings, the gauges accurately measure differential pressures on liquids in ranges from 0 to 5 psid up to 0 to 1,000 psid. Features include pressure bodies machined from sold blocks of metal and a rugged piston sensor. The units are able to withstand severe environments where overpressure is common without jeopardizing their 2 percent full-scale accuracy. Magnetic coupling of the sensor and indicator keeps process fluid from contacting the user. Solid-front gauges and blowout ports are unnecessary. Suitable applications for the device, which can be used in filtration and for measuring flow across an orifice plate, include power generation, gas pipelines, and compressors. Stainless steel and aluminum versions are available with dials from 2.5 to 6 in. in diameter. Engineers can also choose static seals in a variety of materials as well as a range of porting connections, such as medium pressure, high pressure, NPT, BSP, MS, and SAE. Optional switches and transmitters allow for remote indication of process conditions. The device is NEMA 4X and IP 65 rated.
