Custom Tubing, Hose And Assemblies

NewAge Industries now makes custom tubing, hose and assemblies to exact specifications. According to NewAge, customized products can result in less waste, labor and cost than stocked tubing and hose. Types of customization can include:
  • All sorts of hose, such as stainless steel overbraided polytetrafluoroethylene (or Teflon), reinforced polyvinyl chloride and silicone, and polyurethane.
  • A variety of fittings, encompassing sanitary-style fittings, fitting designs that implement clamps or fittings fashioned with crimped-on collars.
  • Thermal tube bonding or heat-formed shapes, which can help fulfill space requirements. For example, the company's Hot Bond thermal-bonding process can join 2 or more tubes of similar material together, which can result in reduced complexity, easier installation and a neater appearance. Heat-formed shapes also help tackle the subject of limited space (and even kinking) due to the fact that curves and elbows often fit into a confined area better than tubing with fittings and clamps.
  • Custom compounding (blending additives into the raw plastic material) for fine-tuning plastics to meet special performance requirements, such as low-temperature flexibility, improved elasticity, UV stabilization or decreased tack.
  • Overbraiding and jacketing to protect tubing and hose from abrasion, heat, kinking or chemical attack.
  • Printing and striping to identify tubing and hose with information like sizes, performance capabilities and limitations, company recognition or part numbers.
  • Adjusted wall dimensions.
  • Slitting or hole-punching.
  • Cut-to-length pieces, resulting in consistent lengths.
  • Packaging, so orders may be shipped in boxes of a specified size, weight or amount.
