For example, bearing types include open, closed, adjustable, segmented (shown), self-aligning, non-self-aligning, ultra-precision, corrosion-resistant, and corrosion-proof. Bearing materials include 440C stainless steel and brass as well as non-magnetic engineered polymer. There are single, twin, flanged, twin-flanged, and rigid housings and single-lip, double-lip, and felt seals.
