These constant current drivers offer flicker-free operation when used with standard triac based incandescent dimmers.



CUI Inc’s (Tualatin, OR) Power line announced the release of AC-DC LED drivers designed for driving high-powered LEDs. These constant current drivers offer flicker-free operation when used with standard triac based incandescent dimmers. Features include:

  • Inputs of 115 or 230 VAC
  • 11 different output current configurations, ranging from 350 mA to 1.5 A.
  • Active power correction.
  • The ability to operate up to a case temperature of 90°C without de-rating.  
  • Protections for over-voltage, over-current, over-temperature, and short-circuit.
