Controller With Text Displays

The Model 3216 temperature controller, which measures 90 mm deep, has been designed with machine builders and OEMs in mind. It has a text display, five on-board process recipes (48 parameters per recipe), and a patented "instant accuracy" system.

The text display is designed to make it easy for anyone to use or configure the controller. If a user scrolls to a parameter and hesitates for a few seconds, the text display begins scrolling in marquee fashion. The display gives a description of that parameter in plain English or one of three other languages. Ordering, configuration, and maintenance have been simplified to simple code that completely specifies functionality and configuration.

Other features are universal input, universal power supply, the ability to download custom input curves, digital communications, and IP65 rating.
