Conductive Foam

Available from Tech-Etch is the durable 2700 Series Conductive Foam—now featuring X-, Y- and Z-axis conductivity for maximum electromagnetic interference-shielding attenuation. The company believes the material is ideal for computer, router and telecom I/O shielding. It also boasts of:
  • Availability with or without pressure-sensitive conductive adhesive over the entire mounting surface or with nonconductive adhesive tape in spot application.
  • A composition made up of conductive open-cell polyurethane foam, in addition to nickel over copper-plated polyester fabric on 2 sides.
  • Woven fabric on one side, and unwoven fabric on the other.
  • Standard thicknesses of .059, .087, and .134 in.
  • A 94V rating and compliance with the RoHS directive.
  • A low compression set for long life.
  • The option to choose standard gaskets, custom designs or sheet stock.
