Compactpci Designers’ Kit

Developed to enable quick, imaginative design considerations and use of key CompactPCI components for designers and engineers, a new designers’ kit is offered by Bivar Inc. The new kit includes various styles of Bivar's newest CompactPCI ejectors, including pushbutton, locking styles, and hot swap enabled models, each IEEE 1101.10 and PICMG 2.0 compliant. The kit also includes 3U X 4 hp and 6U X 4 hp face plate/ejector assemblies, two clear solder side covers for hot-swappable PC boards, four universal snap-in CompactPCI card guides, and an assortment of handles designed for CompactPCI, VME, and Eurocard faceplates. For innovative display design possibilities, the kit also includes a large assortment of BivarOpto panel light pipes. These optical enhancing products offer new ways to mount lighted display outputs directly into the faceplates, with transmitted light sources from PC board-mounted LEDs.
