The X20 CPU is compact but powerful. The unit is 37.5 mm wide. It is equipped with a 100 Mbps Fast Ethernet interface that can be used either as the online interface or for networking. A CAN and RS232 interface are integrated as well. The CPU's design and dimensions correspond to the X20 System, enabling easy connection of I/O modules to the right side of the X20. Rail mechanics allow the complete system to be mounted on the rail like a rack and taken down easily. The extended CPU design can be used if separate Fast Ethernet, CAN, or RS232 interfaces become necessary to meet communication requirements. This CPU is equipped with a 25-mm wide slot for X20 interface modules.
