Compact Converters

This new series of dc to dc/ac converters provides U.S.-made replacements for imported converters used in power vacuum fluorescent displays in security access terminals, gaming machines, appliances, automotive displays, and consumer electronics.

The series includes the E2598VF converter. Measuring 1.25 x 0.93 in. with a low profile of 0.545 in., this closed-loop power supply provides output voltages over a wide input voltage range. Its input voltage range is 4.5 to5.5 Vdc. It also offers two negative dc output voltage ranges – 21.6-26.4 and 27.9-34.1 Vdc.

Also included in the series is the E2577VF, which measures 1.4 x 1.09 in., has a low profile of 0.539 in., and provides one positive dc output voltage and one center-tapped ac voltage.

Rounding out the series is the E2578VF. It has the same dimensions as the E2577VF and provides up to two negative dc output voltages and one center-tapped ac voltage.

Pricing for the E2598VF converter is $9.76 in production quantities.
