Common-mode Chokes

C&D Technologies has expanded its magnetics product range with the introduction of the 5000 series of surface-mount common-mode chokes. According to the company, the new range provides line filtering for power converter designers who are looking to reduce unwanted common mode noise in EMC-sensitive applications. These chokes also have the ability to:
  • Produce inductance values ranging from 0.47 to 4.7 mH and a DC current rating up to 700 mA.
  • Attenuate at frequencies up to 100 MHz.
  • Facilitate the design-in of 5000 series parts through a compact 7.0 x 5.9 x 4.4-mm size and an industry-standard pad layout.
  • Operate in a temperature range of –40 to 85°C.
  • Rate at UL94 V-0, and comply with RoHS and JEDEC J-STD-020-C reflow standards.
