By replacing ozone depleting or global warming refrigerants with R744, global greenhouse gas emissions will be reduced significantly. Consequently, Kavlico’s new sensor fits this newly-created niche by delivering a technically-capable product that meets our “green” initiative.

Features include:

• 17-4 PH hermetically sealed stainless housing.
• A sense element is based upon Kavlico’s patented TiON (Titanium OxyNitride).
• Thin film technology which is capable of withstanding high media temperatures.
• A high operating pressure range of 0 to150 Bar with a proof pressure of 210 Bar and a burst pressure of 320 Bar is well-suited for this demanding application.
• An operating process media temperature range is -40°C to +180°C.
• An ambient operating temperature is -40°C to +135°C.
• High stability and accuracy.
• Ability to be specified with either an analog, SPI, LIN2.0, or CANbus output.
• Ability to tolerate high vibration environments.
• Built-in reverse polarity protection.
• Good over-voltage protection.
• An innovative metal-injection-molded (MIM) design allowing for a reduced package size that is light in weight and easy to install.
• No need for an external probe for measuring temperature.
