The 6000 series features a special inverted seismic element for mechanical isolation.

The 6000 series of micro-miniature accelerometers from Columbia Research Laboratories (Woodlyn, PA) have been perfected over the years so that they may be used for general purpose work. Originally intended exclusively for studies where space and weight restrictions were major factors, they now feature:

  • Detachable cables.
  • A special inverted seismic element for mechanical isolation.
  • The exclusive Columbia micro-miniature detachable cable and connector assemblies.
  • A charge sensitivity of 3 pc/g.
  • A wide frequency range out to 5 KHz.
  • An operating temperature up to +500°F.
