Cmos Camera System

The pco.1200 hs digital high-speed, 10-bit CMOS camera system integrates image memory (camRAM) into the camera itself. The system is designed to provide fast image recording with 1 GB/s and offers a 1280 x 1024 pixel resolution and low noise. Consisting of a compact camera and external intelligent power supply, the system transfers image data via customer-defined standard data interfaces to a computer [IEEE 1394 ("firewire "), camera link, and ethernet)]. Available exposure times range from 1 s (50 ns optional) to 5 sec. Suitable applications include material testing, external crash tests, and extremely slow motion movie clips. Engineers can add Camware software for camera control, image acquisition, and image archiving in various file formats, such as WindowsXP or older and 32 bit-dynamic link library (DLL). The software operates in single mode or with built-in recorder functions. Drivers for third-party software packages are available. Additional options include a CMOS image sensor in color; customized features; and camRAM in 1 GB, 2 GB, and 4 GB.
