Clock Oscillators

The OS-68338 1100 Series line of clock oscillators now includes the 1116 (ACMOS) and 1117 (TTL) J-lead SMT Series. These two devices, which are ruggedized versions of the MIL-PRF-55310/27 and MIL-PRF-55310/28 MIL hybrid clocks, work to reduce the mounting footprint and withstand harsh environments. Measuring nearly half the length of a conventional 14-pin DIP device, the 1115 (ACMOS) Half-DIP Series is a four-pin DIP designed to simplify trace routing and reduce PTH count. The new clocks retain the features of the manufacturer’s four-point crystal-mount and Class S manufacturing processes. All OS-68338 devices exceed MIL-STD-202 vibration and shock levels, which are typical of tactical and space flight environments. Radiation-hardened designs with swept quartz for use in extreme operational environments are available. The new packaging options are designed for standard 5 VDC operation and available for 3.3 VDC input.
