Circuit Breaker Guidebook

Research has shown that only 10 percent of engineers are able to answer basic circuit protection questions correctly. A new educational guide on the application of circuit breakers for equipment has been put together to provide advice on how to use thermal, thermal-magnetic, magnetic, and high-performance circuit breaker technologies. The 72-page guide explains key terminology, presents optional features, and includes diagrams and tables. It also discusses the time/current trip characteristics of different types of circuit breakers.
