Captive Linear Actuators

Z26000 captive linear actuators are available in resolutions ranging from 0.0127 to 0.1016 mm per step and with up to 4.5 kg (44 N, 158 oz) of force. Operating voltage is 5 V at 340 mA or 12 V at 140 mA, bipolar or unipolar. Power consumption is 3.4 W. Temperature rise is 75°C (167°F). Weight is 34 g (1.2 oz). These units allow OEMs to reduce components and simplify designs by replacing rotary motors which generate linear movement through belts and pulleys or racks and pinions. Typical applications include medical devices, small machinery, instrumentation, and virtually any high-volume application where precise linear motion is required.
