The BB705 is a black body temperature reference source that is adjustable from 100° to 1,046°C and is accurate to ۫°C, ۪.25 percent rdg.
It has a built-in digital temperature controller to provide stable temperatures as well as to provide temperature readings of the cavity. The heated cavity provides a target of known temperature and emissivity, and virtually any infrared pyrometer with a spot size diameter less than 44.5 mm can be calibrated.
