Cal Sensors (Santa Rosa, CA) announces the launch of IDA (Integrated Detector Assembly) lead selenide and lead sulfide high-sensitivity infrared detectors with integrated electronics enclosed within a compact, hermetically sealed TO-8 package. IDA detectors enhance measurement dynamic range, resulting in greater low signal detection capability, while reducing system costs and the overall sensor and peripheral electronics footprint by up to 50 percent. Features include:

  • 5.5 mm infrared region, IDA detectors provide industry leading sensitivity of 1.5 E10 Jones.
  • Available in both 1 and 2 mm square sizes.
  • Integrated electronics in an industry standard T0-8 package.
  • A lead time of 6 to 8 weeks.
