SpinFire for Microsoft Office is an integrated application that works within Microsoft Office and allows knowledge workers to leverage the .3D file format to easily embed and widely distribute 2D and 3D CAD design data across the enterprise. CAD information can be put into Microsoft Office documents — Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook — for quoting and estimating, technical publications, manufacturing specifications, and supplier collaborative materials, without having to access the CAD system. Design data can be interactive, allowing rotating, panning, zooming, and changing views. The data can be distributed without traditional CAD access bottlenecks.
