Brushless Servo Motors

The MaxPlusPlus (MPP) Series of brushless servo motors feature low inertia and high power in a smaller package than conventional motors. Segmented lamination technology allows up to 40 percent higher torque per unit size than conventionally wound servo motors. Potted stators improve heat transfer and neodymium magnets allow greater acceleration rates. The motors are available in frame sizes of 92, 100, 115, 142, 190, 230, and 270 mm. They come with thermistor protection; resolver, incremental encoder, or absolute encoder (single- or multi-turn); an optional 24-V fail-safe brake, and an IP 65 shaft seal. Torque ranges from 1.5 to 160 Nm of continuous stall torque (5 to 500 Nm peak torque). The motors are also customizable for mounting, shaft sizes, hollow shafts, coatings, and special windings.
